 The results of the 2008 Circuit Champions are as follows:

   
  1. The Hunt Seat Open Division was dominated for the second year in a row by Lara Meads showing her horse, Ice on the Bay. She totaled 106 points this season.  She is the 2008 Hunt Seat Open Champion. Fantastic!
 
  1. Champion of the Western Youth Divison was secured by Alexis Evans successfully showing her horse Peanut earning 143 points.  Alexis went on to dominate the Western Never Won a Blue Ribbon Division too. In that division, she secured 92 points.  Showing the same horse in the Hunt Seat Youth Division, Alexis became the Champion earning 134 points! Congratulation, Alexis,  on your big triple crown high point wins for 2008!

  1. Reserve Champion in the Youth Hunt Seat Division goes to Ashlyn Jolley.  Ashlyn did a fantastic job in the Hunt Seat Divison showing her horse, Tazzy and even jumped her horse in the crossrails and 2' jumps.  Great job, Ashlyn.
 
  1. Congratulations to Kathy Castellow  showing Chips to Cash In, aka "Fizz"  in the Western Adult Division.  Kathy was tied until the last show where she took the lead making her the High Point Champion.  Through hard work and dedication, Kathy managed to obtain this honor in your Rookie Novice year of showing here at Double T Farms.
   

The gaming division dominated the shows with the most amount of participants and therefore will be credited with awards in both the Championship and Reserve Championship Division the 9-12, 13-18, Adult and Never Won A Blue Ribbon Class.

  
  1. The Champion of the 8 and under Gaming Division goes to Jamie Robertson  showing Two Spot. This is Jamie's Rookie Year and she has shown great potential and improvement this season. Jamie earned 213 points on Two Spot. Way to go, Jamie.
  2. Reserve Champion of the 8 and under division goes to Jordan Harrell showing her horse , Marilyn Monroe. It was a very close race between the two competitors.  Great job, Jordan!
 

 

  1. The Champion of the 9-12 Division goes to Nikki Franklin.  This is her second year in a row taking champion in this division.  This year, she earned her title showing Docs Smart Freckles, aka Freckles. She earned 217 points! Last year she earned her title showing her horse, Foxies Tenofair earning 190 points. Nikki had to use another horse that year, Rosie, to finish up the season while her horse Teno recovered from her injury.  Rosie was able to keep Nikki in the winners circle on some of the events and gave her a real challenge on others.  Way to keep up the great attitude, Nikki!  Congratulations on your win for the second season!
  
  1. Reserve Champion of the 9-12 year olds goes to Jenna Carroll riding her horse, Smokey.  Jenna has consistently strived to do her best and gained 165 points on her horse this season.  Way to go, Jenna!
 
  1. The 13-18 Gaming Division was dominated for the second year in a row by Bethanne Overman showing her horse, Joyful Misty Blue and finishing her year on her alternate horse, Shaker.  In July of this year, Beth lost her horse, Misty, due to a tragic accident in which the horse had to be put down.  It was a hardship that was hard to overcome. Through much struggle and determination, Shaker managed to keep Beth in the winners circle. Total points earned this year was 199 points. Last year, Beth and Misty had worked as a team to successfully gain 215 points this season making that the most amount of points earned by any one horse in last years gaming season.  Congratulations on your big win for the second season, Beth!
 
  1. Reserve Champion of the 13-18 Gaming Division goes toConley Winslow.  Conley was able to jump back into the reserve position at the last show. She earned a total of 147 points this season while riding her horse, Roany. Conley has continued to improve and become a team with her horse, Roany.  Good job, Conley.
 
  1. The Adult Gaming Division was really small this year, but competitive just the same.  For the second year in a row, Sam Phelps has dominated this class with his horse, Joe. This year he earned 179 points. Last year, he tied for champion with Sarah Blanchard showing Sug . They equally earned 126 points and will both received Championship Awards. Keep up the good job, Sam!  Can you do three years in a row? 

  1. Reserve Champion in the Adult Gaming Division goes to Johnny Blanchard showing his horse, Cowboy.  Johnny earned 141 points and did a great job maintaining his position throughout the year.  Way to go, Johnny.
  1. The Never Won a Blue Ribbon Division was a new division last year to allow those individuals a chance to compete against other competitors that have not won a blue ribbon in an event.  This year, Jenna Carroll dominated the division on her horse, Smokey Mt. Rain.  She successfully maintained 2007 NWABR Championship with a total of 222 points. Super job, Jenna!  She earned more points than any other division winners. It was a close race until the last show ending with a 4 point margin.
 
  1. The Never Won a Blue Ribbon Division 2008 Reserve Champion goes to Brittney Mizelle showing her horse, Millie.  She earned 219 points in that division.  Way to go! It was a close race the whole year and each competitor should be proud of their accomplishments.  Way to go, Brittney.

  1. Our new division, Ranch Horse, was not a very big division this year.  We piloted the program to include ranch horse type stock that could show their western versatility in various ranch work activities.  Winner of the youth and open division is Tiffany Carter showing her horse, Second Chance.  Nice Job, Tiffany!   You are the Champion of the Ranch Horse Divison.

  1. The final division was the Gaited Horse Divison. Congratulations to Donna Carroll showing her horse, Stetson for sticking out the year and becoming the High Point Champion of the Gaited Division for the 2008 season.  Good job!
