Our deepest sympathy goes out to Bethanne Overman. Beth lost her horse due to an accidental injury the morning before state competions. Beth's horse, Misty, was the NC State Champion for the past five years. She was an inspiration to all of us and will be deeply missed.
"I believe I can hear her hoof steps in heaven!"
I would like to thank all of the 4-Hers and their families for all of the love and support you gave our member during the state competions. It is truly an inspiration to know that there are so many good people in this world. Special thanks for putting Beth's name in for the 4-H Sportmanship Award. For those of you who did not know, your votes were successful! Bethanne Overman was voted by all of you and she received the 2008 Sr. Sportmanship Award for the NC State 4-H Horse Show !
We all sincerely thank all of you! May God bless you for your thoughtfulness!
